This Refund Policy outlines our approach to refunds for services provided to engineers and Top Employers in automotive, aerospace, energy, and motorsports. We aim to ensure clarity and fairness in all transactions.
General Refund Policy
All Sales Are Final: Except as outlined below, all payments for services, including paid memberships for engineers and placement fees for Top Employers, are non-refundable. Engineer Services
Free Services: Our free services, such as job search, job alerts, and thumbs up/down functionality, are provided at no cost and do not involve payments or refunds.
Paid Memberships: Paid services, including proactive placement, career coaching, resume reviews, and exclusive career management tools, are offered through flexible, no-contract memberships. These memberships are non-refundable due to the immediate access provided to personalized recruiting support and resources. If you believe there has been a billing error, contact us within 30 days of the charge at [email protected], and we will review your request promptly.
Employer Services and Placement Fees
Placement fees are calculated as a percentage of the candidate's first-year compensation (base salary + bonuses), due on the candidate's start date.
- 20% Placement Fee: 90-day replacement guarantee.
- 25% Placement Fee: 180-day replacement guarantee.
- 30% Placement Fee: 1-year replacement guarantee.
- Retainer Pricing: Customized packages for multiple placements, tailored to employer needs.
Non-Refundable Fees
Placement fees and retainer payments are non-refundable, as they reflect our commitment to sourcing, vetting, and placing elite engineering talent. Instead of refunds, we offer replacement guarantees to protect your investment. If a placed candidate leaves or does not meet expectations within the guarantee period, we will conduct a new search at no additional cost until a suitable replacement is found.
Billing Disputes
If you believe there has been an error in billing for placement fees or retainer services, contact us within 30 days of the invoice at [email protected]. We will investigate and resolve the issue promptly, ensuring fairness.
Exceptions
We do not offer refunds for services rendered, but we may consider exceptions in rare cases, such as:
- Service Non-Delivery: If we fail to provide the agreed-upon service, we will work with you to resolve the issue or provide a partial refund, at our discretion.
- Legal Requirements: Refunds may be issued if required by applicable law.

Cancellation of Services
Engineer Memberships
You may cancel your paid membership at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Cancellation stops future billing, but no refunds are issued for payments already made, as services are provided immediately upon subscription.
Employer Services
Top Employers may cancel a search assignment by notifying us in writing at [email protected]. If cancellation occurs after a candidate is placed, the placement fee remains non-refundable. For retainer agreements, cancellation terms will be outlined in the written agreement, and any unused services are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
